Mussel Sizer
Customer demand for uniformly sized mussels led to the
development of the Mussel Size Grader. Our exclusive graduated
tapered rolls combined with variable pitch discharge chutes
accurately size the mussels to your required specification. The
machined steps on the tapered rolls allow for a precise size
separation. The oscillating infeed chute evenly distributes the
mussels across the width of the sizer bed. We have supplied
units with capacities ranging from 1000 to 8000 lbs/hr. All
parts are fabricated from stainless steel and food-grade
materials. The drive system is electric, with an option for
hydraulic.
